For dancers who have mastered the fundamental tools of the dance and basic zill patterns from levels 1 and 2. In this class, you will learn new finger cymbal patterns and technique variations, more refined isolation techniques, connection/flow techniques, combinations, and dance styles. There will be increasing emphasis on layered movements, combinations, style, presentation, musicality and music appreciation, and improvisational skill development. There will also be more focus on developing your dance technique and performance/presentation skills. We will explore different styles of belly dance and movement stylizations, and specialty techniques and propsare introduced. The class is taught as a mixed level class for new level 3 through advanced students with instructor feedback, focus and variations are tailored to the students at different levels.

Registration: Click on the registration form link below for registration, fees and policies. Please note: we typically only contact registrants before the session begins if there is a change or a problem with the registration. If you require a confirmation, indicate this on your registration form. Otherwise, you may assume that if you send in your registration and do NOT get a call from us, everything is fine and you are registered! If you need to miss a class, you can take any other regular Aalim School class at either location as a make up class.

Due to the cumulative nature of the material, first time beginners should register for the full session; returning students may select any option. If you need to miss a class, you may attend any regular Aalim School class at either location as a make up class within the same session.
